Brief description:
Check valves are designed to prevent the medium moving through pipelines from moving in the opposite direction.
Check valves are divided into:

• housing material;
• type and material of the locking system;
• parameters of the moving medium (see technical descriptions of check valves);
• the method of connection to the pipeline: coupling, flange and flange connection, as well as welding into the joint and into the groove.

Various alloys are used as materials for the manufacture of check valve body parts: cast iron, steel, bronze, brass.
Rubber, fluoroplast, plastic, as well as metal elements act as seals.
The choice of material depends on the conditions of use of the device and the characteristics of the transmitted medium.
